Occasionally Sparrow Tree Square receives submissions of original poetry and prose by authors hoping to have their work published in the magazine. While these submissions are often very good, Sparrow Tree Square magazine does NOT publish contemporary pieces. All of the selections in each issue of the magazine are in the public domain, which generally means that they were originally published prior to 1923.
